Andreas Bodenstein von Karlstadt is becoming more internationally known. The volume „Europa reformata: European Reformation Cities and Their Reformers“ published in both German and English versions in 2016, ushered in the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. This work traces the profiles of 48 European cities such as Edinburgh, Geneva, and Heidelberg. Last but not least, Andreas Bodenstein’s hometown, Karlstadt, is presented by Thomas Kaufmann, a renowned scholar of the Reformation. But that is not all: a Korean translation of this work is now available. I wonder if Andreas Bodenstein could have ever imagined having a Korean audience?
